Sleeve Block Features

Sleeve Blocks can be used on any size XSF Truss Tower with custom applications available upon request.

Standard size sleeve blocks are designed to be used with 12”x12”, 16”x16”, and 20.5”x20.5” towers.

Sleeve blocks can be used for any truss sizes XSF offers from 10”x10” up to 36”x30” truss

They are available for all Truss connection types also, which include:

Bolt Plate Truss
Protective Bolt Plate Truss
Aluminum Forkend Truss
Steel Forkended Truss

ADDITIONAL SLEEVE BLOCK FEATURES

Sleeve Block Configurations come standard as 4-ways, but are available in 2-way and 3-way configurations upon request.

What is a Truss Sleeve Block and What is its Purpose?

As a partner to the Headblock the sleeve blocks are attached to the main truss and contain internal guide wheels which allow the raising and lowering of goal post or truss roof grid systems.

As the Chain hoist raises or lowers the main truss, the sleeve blocks provide a clean, safe, guide that moves up and down the towers. The Sleeve Block provides smooth vertical movement with no sway or motion that could damage the structure.

Because of the many factors involved in the engineering calculations for a tower truss, standard load tables are not provided by XSF for tower truss. The design includes more factors than standard truss used in a horizontal application.
