Students of Space Concordia Look to Make History with XSF Truss Launch Tower

In July of 2022, a talented and enthusiastic group of students from the Space Concordia Rocketry Program in Montreal, Canada, contacted XSF Truss.

Made up of over 100 diverse and dedicated students, their mission was in need of sponsorship for a new Truss, Rocket Launch Tower. After some initial conversations and further learning of the program, XSF simply could not refuse the opportunity to be a part of history with this bright and talented group!

An interesting note is this same crew had recently broken the world record for the most powerful liquid-fueled engine ever built by students by 5 X the previous record!

The Space Concordia class is gathering a reputation worldwide as they now prepare to go straight into space and reach an altitude of over 100km high, breaking the record for the highest student-run rocket launch in history.

Leaving nothing to chance, they knew, through initial rocket testing, that the truss required for this World Record Setting Launch could not be from any truss company. The group knew exactly what they needed for this project, came straight to XSF and we were happy to oblige.

We do not have a launch date yet but will keep everyone posted.

We wish all the students success in both their launch and their futures.
