Often less talked about, but of great importance when it comes to safety and saving money.

For most applications, truss is generally not stationary. Due to its many benefits and versatility of being lightweight and durable, truss is often moved and handled a lot through its lifetime.

• When possible use Dollies when moving your truss
• Forklift Drivers moving truss should be trained and Certified
• When shipping Truss make sure the truss is properly packaged and no items or gear will rub, bounce or shift on, or against the truss. This is a common issue that can cause a lot of problems but is easily avoided.

• If trusses are connected always ensure the connections are secure before lifting or loading the trusses. (to learn how to secure truss together watch this short video)
• The use of C-clamps is not recommended on aluminum truss.
