Tacoma Dome

XSF partnered with Atlanta Rigging Systems, Athletic & Performance Rigging and Entertainment Structures Group for a 400' x 160' Truss grid installation in the Tacoma Dome.

• The grid consists of custom XSF 24” x 20.5” plated catwalk truss.
• There are over 500 truss components hanging from over 250 rigging points.
• Over 114,000 lbs of aluminum and 7500 bolts.
• The grid is capable of supporting over 625,000 pounds of live load.
• If the truss were placed end to end it would reach 8,150 feet.
• If the aluminum tubes and plates used to fabricate the truss were placed end to end they would stretch over 15 miles.

The Tacoma Dome, at 530 feet in diameter and 152 feet tall, is one of the largest wood domed structures in the world.
